I finished watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars series on Netflix. It's a an excellent series (although I have a few issues with a few of the episodes being out of chronological order.)
Here are my thoughts.
Season 1: Good. Good action and animation. Good characterization, but is rather weak on overarching story.
Season 2: Pretty damn good. It's like season 1 with better extended story. And I love how it makes the clones so human.
Season 3: Eh, too much politics. But the story makes up for it.... But fuck the depiction of Mandalore
Although I really loved the Mortis trilogy... That vision though....
Season 4: A pretty solid story and great action to go with it. But the whole witches thing was weird as fuck
Season 5: Probably my favorite season. It gives Darth Maul the credibility he deserved. It also has an amazing story, especially the arcs about the rogue Jedi general and the Ahsoka arc. It hits you in the feels at the end.
Season 6: I understand that this season was not complete, but to me it really blew. The only good arc was the "Order 66" arc, the rest was pure crap. And yes, even the Yoda Arc. I'm probably going to get crucified for this, but I hated the Yoda arc. To me it was the worst arc in the entire series. I'm not trolling.
I think it's a great series even though it had a few chronological issues, questionable depiction of Mandalore, and a shitty final season. Yeah, I get it, the last season was a patch up, but still...
Well, now that im done watching this wonderful series, what should I watch next? Suggestions?
